Connecting readers with great deals on ebooks is just the beginning for BookBub. We're growing our team to launch new consumer-facing book discovery features, tools for authors and publishers, and other web and mobile products that address the digital transition of the publishing industry.

 

About this position:

BookBub seeks a talented recent graduate to drive business from our author partners and help them use BookBub’s products to effectively market their ebooks. Responsibilities include:

  • Representing BookBub in the author and publishing communities via email, phone, and face-to-face communication
  • Becoming an expert on BookBub’s suite of marketing products and how they can help authors sell books
  • Developing comprehensive knowledge of the self-published marketplace to understand authors’ pain points, needs, and goals
  • Advising authors on best practices for utilizing BookBub’s products to help accomplish their goals
  • Providing excellent client service to authors by scheduling and coordinating their BookBub promotions, responding to their questions promptly, and resolving any issues or complaints with a positive, helpful attitude
  • Gathering and synthesizing author feedback and delivering it to internal stakeholders in order to help develop and improve products and increase product adoption
  • Helping with some product marketing responsibilities, including writing client-facing copy, drafting educational blog posts, and working with product managers to test, develop, and improve author tools.

  • Interested in both business strategy and the book/publishing industry
  • Adept at creative problem solving through critical analysis and synthesis of information  
  • Able to work autonomously and self-manage
  • Someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and easily adapts to change
  • Meticulously attentive to detail with strong multi-tasking and coordination abilities
  • Excited about a fast-paced, rapidly evolving start-up environment
  • A Bachelor's degree holder in a related field
